What we do
Through the Work4Progress programme, we have developed a platform for action and learning to promote job creation in Bundelkhand, Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan (northern India).

In these regions we work in collaboration with three networks of organisations that act in coordination:
Development Alternatives, Transforming Rural India Foundation (TRIF), Rangde, Gran Vaani and two local civil society organisations.

Personal experiences
Bacha Iman is an entrepreneur who has created a microenterprise for water filtering based on reverse osmosis in the area of Nabiganj. His initiative provides employment for 3 people.
Together with a group of women from Orcha, Sakshi runs a microenterprise that produces organic compost. The firm supplies local farmers and provides employment for 10 people.
Meera Kushawaha has opened a bracelet store and her business is growing. She's the only woman in her village to own a store.
Vandana Ahirwar is an entrepreneur who runs an online service centre in Tikamgarh.
Veer Singh Rajput attended a workshop on entrepreneurship that motivated him to expand his organic compost business. He now plans to buy a packaging machine to add value to his product on the market.
