”la Caixa” Foundation grants 60 fellowships for low-income students with outstanding academic results who want to start a bachelor's degree or higher artistic studies in Spain.

Students who want to start a bachelor's degree for the first time in the 2026-2027 academic year.
Bachelor's studies or higher artistic studies in public universities or public higher education centres in Spain.
On-campus, full-time and full-dedication studies.
Open to all disciplines.
Of the total 60 fellowships, 10 will be for beneficiaries of CaixaProinfancia, a programme by ”la Caixa” Foundation that aims to break the cycle of child poverty passed down from parents to children.
This programme promotes the development of educational and social skills for children and adolescents in situations of poverty and social exclusion through diverse initiatives and social entities. Learn about all the activities included in this programme and the network of social entities involved.
Requirements of the call
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet these three requirements:
Have been a beneficiary of the fixed allowance for income of the general scholarship of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sport or of the Basque government in the 2025-2026 campaign. Therefore, all the candidates must be categorized by these organizations in threshold 1 of family income.
Have passed the last year of Baccalaureate/Upper Secondary Education (Bachillerato) or Higher-level of Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) in the 2025-2026 academic year.
Applicants who have completed their Baccalaureate studies must pass the university entrance exams in the 2026 first sitting.
Applicants from the CaixaProinfancia programme, in addition to meeting the above requirements, must have been beneficiaries of this programme during the 2025-2026 academic year.

The evaluation and selection of all applications will be conducted through a competitive selection process. The selection process is made up of the following phases:
Phase 1 - Preselection:
The candidates are split into groups by fields of knowledge according to the discipline of the studies to be taken, as indicated on the application. Only the candidates with the best final grades in the Baccalaureate studies or Higher-level of Vocational Training in each field of knowledge will be pre-selected.
Phase 2 - Final selection
The preselected candidates will be called for a personal interview with an external assessment committee. Candidates will be selected based on their merits and qualifications, taking into consideration the following aspects:
Candidate's potential, capabilities and academic background.
Transformative impact of the fellowship.

How should the communication materials be disseminated?
To ensure effective communication, first of all we'd recommend a mailing to explain the details of the call to the students.
Then we'd suggest publishing the downloadable posts about the call on all social media channels, taking into account the texts proposed for publications contained in the Recommendations for promoting the call on Social Media.
We'd also recommend printing the posters in A4 or A3 format to publicise the call at the university or centre.
How should the results of the publications be shared?
”la Caixa” Foundation is very grateful for your help in promoting calls among the students. To optimise the communication materials, we'd like you to help, as far as possible, by providing us with some important data on the pieces published on your digital channels: a description of the audience reached, screenshots of your publications on social media and the language in which your posts were published.
