”la Caixa” Foundation grants 50 fellowships to study a Bachelor's degree or higher art courses at public universities or public higher education centres in Spain.

50 fellowships for excellent students with limited financial resources who are starting a degree for the first time in the 2022-2023 academic year.

Full-time, on-site studies requiring 100 % dedication.

Requirements of the call
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet these three requirements:
Have been a beneficiary of the income-based fixed grant, threshold 1 of family income, of the general grant provided by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training or of the Basque government in the 2021-2022 campaign.
Have passed the last year of Baccalaureate or Higher Level Training Cycle (CFGS) in the 2021-2022 academic year.
In the case of Baccalaureate applicants, to have passed the university entrance exams in the ordinary campaign of 2022.

The selection process is made up of the following phases:

Phase 1 - Preselection:
Candidates will be classified by area of knowledge according to the discipline of the studies to be pursued, and those with the highest grade in the Baccalaureate or Higher Level Training Cycle in each area of knowledge will be shortlisted.

Phase 2 - Selection interviews
Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview before an external evaluation committee that will decide which candidates have the best merits and abilities, taking into account the following aspects:
The candidate's potential, ability and motivation.
The potential transformation and impact brought about by the fellowship.
CV and letters of reference.
