In collaboration with GB Hub, we support innovative initiatives that boost employment and entrepreneurism in Ghana.
What we do
Work4Progress will be implemented in Ghana in partnership with GBHub Africa, to generate quality employment for vulnerable women and young people. The programme strengthens local innovation ecosystems by building networks of institutions that collaborate through community listening, co-creation, prototyping, and scaling of job creation solutions.
In Ghana, Work4Progress focuses on the Afram Plains region, an area with strong agricultural potential and a high opportunity for rural job creation.
Work4Progress Ghana Call for Proposals
The call aims to select networks of three to five organizations that will jointly design and implement employment-generating initiatives within the Afram Plains. Selected networks will carry out community listening, opportunity mapping, co-creation processes, and the development and piloting of job creation initiatives linked to local needs and economic opportunities.
Priority areas include:
Circular economy and green job creation.
E-commerce and digital transformation.
Integration of small enterprises into supply chains.
Technology that enhances competitiveness of inclusive businesses.
Value chains involving pepper, onion, and other spices identified by GBHub Africa.
