What we do
JUNTOS! is a platform to strengthen the capacity, impact and sustainability of civil society organisations (CSOs) and promote civic and community participation through inclusive and collaborative approaches.
It is an initiative promoted by ”la Caixa” Foundation and the Aga Khan Foundation that is being implemented in Mozambique since 2014 and in Porto (Portugal) since 2023.
JUNTOS! Mozambique has 26 partner organisations Parceiros | Juntos! and JUNTOS! Porto has 12 partners.
Specific objectives
To increase the effectiveness and sustainability of civil society organisations.
To increase public confidence and trust in civil society organizations.
To become known nationally as an innovative platform for learning and responding to development challenges.
Act as a learning and knowledge sharing platform for Mozambican and Portuguese civil society and community members.
Who it is addressed to
Civil society organisations in Mozambique and Porto (Portugal).
How we do it
In collaboration with the Aga Khan Foundation, we provide face-to-face and online training courses, hold meetings in which organisations get to know each other, exchange experiences, present success stories, implement community innovation projects (PICs), etc.
