By contributing to Gavi the Vaccine Alliance, all of us who are part of the Alliance for Child Vaccination of ”la Caixa” Foundation manage to provide children with an injection of life, as well as an injection of solidarity for the companies.
What we do
We promote corporate social responsibility through our partnership with Gavi, at the same time as reducing infant mortality in the most disadvantaged developing countries.
Promoting the more social aspect of business has a positive effect on companies as it boosts competitiveness, projects an image of concern for social problems and constitutes a source of personal satisfaction.
There are many reasons to invest in corporate social responsibility with the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (Gavi):
Effectiveness: more than 1,000 million children vaccinated by Gavi and over 10 million children vaccinated thanks to the donations made by companies, customers as well as the contributions of ”la Caixa” Foundation.
Trust: 100 % of contributions will go entirely to Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. The 2024 Index - Publish What You Fund has ranked GAVI as a leading organisation in terms of its transparency of management and reporting of results, occupying the top positions in the index every year.
Tax breaks: these contributions may give the right to make a deduction in accordance with Act 49/2002, without prejudice to the Foral Regulations of the Basque Country or Navarra or any other standard approved by the Autonomous Communities in this regard.
Recognition: companies that form part of the Global Alliance for Child Vaccination receive a Welcome Pack consisting of materials that accredit their participation and also materials to raise awareness of the initiative.
You can also become a corporate sponsor. There are different types of sponsorship:
Platinum. Contributions from €30,000 upwards
Gold. Contributions between €6,000 and €29,999
Silver. Contributions between €1,000 and €5,999
Since 2008, the Alliance for Child Vaccination has received donations from more than 4,000 companies and more than 8,000 customers, CaixaBank employees and micro-donations, raising more than €15.6 million for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, in the fight against child mortality.
Adding this figure to the annual commitment of ”la Caixa” Foundation, a total of €46.7 million has been raised, which has helped to vaccinate more than 10 million children.
The initiative has the support of CaixaBank, through the collaboration of the CaixaEmpresa business centres, CaixaBank - Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB), keys to the success of this initiative.
