Sergio Boixo and Espido Freire

Sergio Boixo is a computer engineer, a doctor of quantum computing and also a proud "Leonese of the Year". In 2003, a fellowship from ”la Caixa” Foundation made it possible for him to go to the United States and today he's Director of Quantum Computing at Google and creator of the Willow quantum chip, one of the great milestones in his scientific career.
