Art as a Tool for Improving Society.

The ”la Caixa” Foundation’s Art for Change programme is an initiative in which art and culture are used as a tool for improving society. Based on an annual call, we promote projects with creative processes headed up by an artist in which all kinds of people take part, especially collectives in vulnerable situations.

Through these initiatives, we want to give participants the chance to have contact with art and culture and offer equal opportunities and conditions, contributing towards empowering people and groups through an artistic process connected with the plastic arts, photography, video, music, theatre, circus, dance and literature.
