Joining forces to go further.

What we do

We partner with major international organizations and foundations in order to promote our international cooperation activities, especially in developing countries.

With these strategic alliances, we are able to work with leading international organizations on our main lines of action, including job creation, education, philanthropy promotion, global health, research, and humanitarian aid and emergency relief.

From the United States, the representative office of the ”la Caixa” Foundation in Washington DC supports those alliances established from the International Area with North American entities, institutions and foundations.

What is our objective?

Our goal is to join forces with all entities, foundations, and other international actors who believe that everyone deserves the same rights and actively work to ensure that this happens.

Our main partners include national foundations and NGOs, as well as prestigious international foundations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Aga Khan Foundation and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation; UN agencies, such as UNHCR, refugee assistance agencies; or initiatives like the alliance for childhood vaccination GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance.

We partner major international bodies, organisations and foundations that help us to carry out and raise awareness of our main areas of action: job creation, education, promoting philanthropy, universal health, research, emergency relief and humanitarian aid.
