Through UNHCR, we help those who've had to abandon their homes due to the conflict in Ukraine, primarily providing them with essential products.

What we do

Through the collaboration agreement we've signed with UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) via the International Area of ”la Caixa” Foundation, we work to help those affected by the war in Ukraine to meet their most basic needs with essential products, such as those related to shelter, food, medicine and hygiene, among others.

How we help

This collaboration focuses on two areas of action to help those affected by the war:

  • ”la Caixa” Foundation's contribution is primarily aimed at the multi-purpose cash assistance programme (MPC). This is a unique multi-sector emergency cash initiative which aims to ensure that people's most immediate basic requirements are covered flexibly and with dignity, allowing them to use resources in a way that best suits their preferences and needs. This contribution also helps the local economy to recover by injecting cash into the markets.

  • At the same time, refugees in Poland have also been given hygiene kits, sleeping bags and thermal blankets.

Where are we
